How we came to exist
My love for history began in 5th grade when I read Letters from Rifka by Karen Hesse. That experience showed me the power of storytelling—and it’s why I believe so strongly in literature-rich learning paired with hands-on activities. History comes alive through stories, not by memorizing dates and facts. The true goal is to spark curiosity and inspire children to ask meaningful questions.
This curriculum was originally created for my own children, and I truly hope your family enjoys it as much as we have.
