In our newest full-year course, Modern American History, students will explore both the triumphs and challenges that have shaped the United States. Covering key events from 1870 to 1968, this curriculum is designed to give learners a broad overview of modern American history—offering high-level insights into each topic without lingering too long on any single event.
While Stories in History is always created with family-style learning in mind, this course is best suited for students ages 9 and up due to the sensitive nature of some content. That said, it can be adapted for younger learners if needed.
Course Overview:
Unit 1: The Second Industrial Revolution (1870–1914)
Unit 2: Immigration to America (1900–1915)
