Picking up where Early American History leaves off, this course explores American history from the Second Industrial Revolution through the Civil Rights Movement (approximately 1870–1968). Students will discover how industrialization, immigration, two world wars, economic change, social movements, and global conflict transformed the United States and shaped the modern world.

Through engaging stories, meaningful discussions, hands-on projects, maps, timelines, and historical inquiry, students will do more than memorize names and dates—they'll explore the people, events, and ideas that shaped modern America.
