This timeline highlights the major events of World War One (WW1). Students will color each piece while reading about the key event and then glue it into the correct order on the timeline. The pieces are out of order so students will need to pay attention to the dates. Allied powers are highlighted in blue and Central powers are highlighted in green to make it easier to read and keep track of the story. There are 15 pieces in all (4 pages printed) so the timeline's length is approximately 7 feet long by 3" wide. You can fold these timelines up after and use them as a study tool or hang them on the walls. This is a simple way to review the key events of WWI.
This is designed for ages 9-14 years old and can be used for homeschool or classroom use.
