This simple, cut-and-paste activity allows students to think through the causes and effects of the 2nd Industrial Revolution at the turn of the 20th century during the Progressive Era. This time period included Henry Ford's Assembly Line, the Bessemer Process which made the production of steel quicker and cheaper, along with the formation of worker's unions. This was the beginning of the Progressive Era from 1870-1914 in America. Works well for ages 9+.
