This simple craft has students learn briefly about the creation of the Assembly Line by Henry Ford in the early 1900s. This is a great craft to model the assembly line and walk through some of the inventions of the Second Industrial Revolution in America in 1910.
Instructions:
- Cut out the grey car template and the car parts on the following page.
- Take out the 2 Assembly Line pages with the road on them and place them side by side. Place the car parts in the boxes next to the appropriate station on the assembly line.
- Build the Model T by moving the grey car template from the start of the assembly line through to the end. Use a glue stick to attach the car part at each station until the car is complete
Great activity for Kinder-5th grade students learning about the key inventions of America. Can be used in the classroom or for homeschool.
