This fun and simple project-based learning game teaches students about budgeting during the Great Depression from 1929-1939. Students will follow the 12 steps to make decisions about what to purchase for their family using the Monthly Budget Planner. The goal is to make choices about purchases that they feel are best for their family while not exceeding their budget of $144. Prices are accurate with the Great Depression time-period. Students have 5 chances to play this game and dial in their choices.
This is an individual activity/game. No additional supplies needed. Ages 9+.
