This resource introduces students to the Qin Dynasty, Shi Huangdi, Legalism, and the construction of the Great Wall of China. Students learn why the wall was built, how it was constructed, and its lasting impact on Chinese history.
After reading, students complete a hands-on 3D watchtower craft, assembling and attaching it to a background page to create a visual model of the Great Wall.
